Josh, Teri, glad to meet you both -- virtually, anyway. It looks like a great group. And yes, glad to do my part trying to bring the male/female ratio into a more acceptable range. <g>

Hi Scott--I am a Tenner too and just wanted to warn you about Berk (he is just so happy to have another guy in the Tenners he sounds almost normal here, but *don't* trust it) :) And to say, yeppers. I kinda think we are promoting ourselves to other authors on a lot of the stuff. Twitter and all of that--pretty insular sometimes. But as Poe suggests, some of those other authors could be great supporters. I know I will be pushing some books this year that I did not write.

Hey Scott! I'm one of the Tenners. Welcome to our group! I'm having fun clicking around your site & definitely enjoyed this post very much as I have often had these exact thoughts about promotion and such. Also a conversation with a Poe action figure is pretty much just always bound to be awesome. I look forward to getting to you know 'round Tenners! (Plus I'm on Twitter all the time @joshberkbooks)

Alllena: Well, at least your muse is *alive.* On the flip side, Poe doesn't poop on the carpet like my dog occasionally does.
